(1) Any person or organization who wants to register a private forest shall submit an application to the relevant district forest office in the format as per schedule-24, along with the evidence of their right to the land for which they wish to register the private forest.
(2) If an application is received as per sub-rule (1), the District Forest Officer, after conducting the necessary investigation on the application, if it is determined that the land mentioned in the application is a private right of enjoyment, the type and number of trees on such land shall be disclosed and the land shall be registered as a private forest and issue a certificate in accordance with schedule-25. will fall.
(3) The owner of private forest land registered according to sub-rule (2) should inform the concerned district forest office in writing about planting new trees on the land of his/her rights.
